Balestrand ExHIbition
Saurdalen valley.
This is the small ski arena that the locals use for and learn and ski. Those who have come a little further go out towards the terrain and build jumps. The terrain here is bumpy and quite funny, perfect for freeriding. This is my friend Fredrik from a good day with new fresh snow.
Guiding community
In Balestrand you do a lot in common. This is from a trip where the older guards take the new generation of guides with them and show where to go and where you can ski down the best way.

When we were younger we jumped from all sorts of places, climbed trees and tried to fly with everything that had wheels. When we got boats we started exploring places that you could jump from. Here is Mons from the fjordland fjord.
Synchron Valley.
Some valleys are formed through erosion by glacial ice. These glaciers may remain present in valleys in high mountain or polar areas. In balestrand you can find alot of sweet ones.
The classic Balestrand.
Kviknes Hotel, the innkeeping traditions date back to 1752. The Kvikne family, which today owns the hotel, took over in 1877. The hotel was built in Swiss style, and has retained its distinctive character. Kviknes Hotel is located in the center of Balestrand, a beautiful and lush western countryside in the middle of the world's most beautiful adventure!
Sunny night.
In the start of the summer when the air is cold and fresh, the sun hits the moon correct, one can catch a strong light from the dark bottom of the esefjord.
The sweet spot.
Often when I get visitors i want to take them to Raudmelen. This is a 3-4 hour hike where there is alot of sweetspots, nature and a dreamy place for the photographers.
Before the rain.
The weather can change often on the west-coast. Here is a rowing boat that just reached pier before the rainstorm came. Seeing a row-boat pass you in the morning can bring peace to the soul.

Along the ridge of the "Raudmelen" trip there are plenty that can take your breath away.

In Balestrand you can walk between galleries, visit the local Cider producer or look at architectural gems among the village houses.
